How to keep the house clean always?

Get into a routine, and stick to it. Also you'll have to tidy inbetween your routine tasks, because mess does happen, and if you leave it, it will be worse. I usually do a 10 min tidy up in the morning, and a 10 minute tidy up in the evening...just to make sure I can see the carpet after the kids have had their toys out!! During the day I'll do set chores, ie clean bathrooms, give kitchen good scrub, mop floors etc etc.but the key is definitely tidy as you go rather than wait for chore day...if you bleach down the kitchen after you finish clearing away each meal dishes, then it will be constantly tidy.
My living room is never tidy during the day though, as ultimately I believe that my children's fun is more important than my own anal behaviour towards mess!
don't do anything else
My fiencee and I have a cleaner for 4 hours a week. I'm only 26 with my own house, but a cleaner is the way to go.
Dont sit around looking at mess, clean it up as you see it.
1 Don't have any kids.
2. Don't live in it.
Move out and leave it empty. Return once a week for thorough dusting and polishing and carpet shampooing, and you should be just about able to do it!
Otherwise, set up a system of cleaning as you go, and doing a couple of chores every day.
i agree with cowboy57 - i have a cleaner come in on a friday to spring clean..top to bottom - thats my treat for the week & the house is spotless when i come home...heaven!!
Never have kids, Or kick em out as soon as they leave school and get a job. It's them that make all the mess.
Easy
Don't Eat in it;
Don't live in it;
Don't entertain in it;
Hey why not get rid of it! A house is a home and a home is to be lived in. Surely if each person takes care of their own mess then things will be hunkey dorey.
Stop fretting and enjoy the more tangible things in life.
spend your time a slave to your home.when you make a mess clean it up right away, don't allow smokers in your home,no pets, throw things away like newpaperfliers as soon as they come, get heat ducts cleaned once a year, change furnace filter often, treat yourself to a cleaning company once a year to just was walls.training your children well!
I don't worry about my flat being immaculate. I'd rather my flat be lived in then too clean and tidy. I will tidy up if i'm in the mood, but if i'm too tired I won't do it.
an immaculate house is the sign of a wasted life, dust is a protective covering for furniture, well thats my motto anyway, there's being dirty and there's being untidy, if you have kids then forget it, don't stress about it just do it as you go along.
This is what my cousin told me whenI asked him how does he always have a clean house. He said whenever you have something out of place, you immediately put it away. have dishes to wash, do them right away. Have a bed to make, do it as soon as you get up so on and on. And it works. bettyk
i have no idea! I'm a 17 year old boy and a bit obsessed with cleaning, weird i know, the neighbours can see me do all the cleaning and one of my neighbours asked me to move in with her (needless to say she was joking!)
as soon as you find out let me know!!
Spend the whole weekend when you have time going from top to bottom of every single room.
Clothes if not worn in last 12 months throw away chances are you are never going to wear them again.
bathroom throw eerything you never use away even aunties gross christmas present or recycle it give it away to charity shop.Same with clothes
Clean windows ect as you go along
Same in kitchen and those cupboards throw anything things that you dont ever use.
Once this is done you have a clean slate and the trick is to tidy up as you use and go along.
I wash the sink down everytime I use it and although a pain once habit is formed takes two seconds.
Trick is a place for everything and stick to it once you have organised your house and your cleaning it will be always clean and tidy.
a normal prson house is usually messy. Pick up something as you do it. have a cleaning day once a week.maybe have a maid come in once a month. try your hardest to pick up, throw away, or what ever you have to do to keep it clean
When i say cleaning day, i mean
1 dust
2 vaccum
3 pick up
4 clean toilets
5clean stove tops
6 clean counters
7 wash dishes
8 clean out fridge
9 throw away thing that clutter and stuff you dont need
ETCETERA!
Good luck
keep men out .side... in a shed.
You just have to keep ontop of it.
To keep the house clean all the time, you will need to clean up at the end of each task, and day. Make sure that the dishes are washed and put away before you go to bed each night and that the trash is taken out to the garbage. When you wake up in the morning, everything will be clean and you just clean up after yourself as you go about dressing for the day and eating.
Always clean after yourself.
I have no kids at home, and I was doing a pretty good job of keeping my house clean at all times ...until recently that is, when I was diagnosed with a medical problem. Hopefully, I'll be back into a routine soon. I'm the type of person who loves a clean, neat house, and it bothers me tremendously if it gets too messy.
My "secret" was picking up after myself, keeping the place "clutter free," and spot cleaning in between weekly or bi-weekly cleanings.
I made my bed each morning, picked up dirty clothes and shoes from the bedroom, and flicked dust off the tops of furniture with a feather duster or a micro cloth every few days.
I kept my makeup and toiletries in baskets which I stowed under the sink vanity when I was done with them. I'd give the sink and toilet seat a quick wipe every couple of days with a Clorox wipe or damp paper towels and whatever cleaner I happened to have on hand. I'd spray the mirrors when they began to look yukky. I'd run a non-electric sweeper over traffic areas and pick up whatever I saw on the carpet. I kept books and magazines in a basket by the bed.
In the living room, I'd pick up clutter and put mail and newspapers away daily, plus fluff up the sofa cushions and re-drape the throw over the couch if it needed tidying. I'd run my sweeper (not the vacuum, but the push sweeper) over traffic areas and pick up what I could see. I'd spot clean smudges off the glass tops, wipe off tops of wooden furniture, etc.
I don't cook, so the kitchen was easy. I'd rinse my coffee mugs and salad bowl or sandwich plate and load the dishes in the dishwater, and I kept the counters wiped down and the sink clean. I kept a bottle of mild bleach and water, and I'd spritz the sink so it stayed clean and fresh. I'd do a quick sweep of the floor, or even wipe up crumbs with a wad of damp paper towels.
I always burned candles or melted wax tarts for a sweet smelling place.
Once a week or so, I'd do a deep clean and include cleaning the shower stall, vacuuming or brushing upholstered pieces, cleaning the toilets all around, dusting all furniture, vacuuming the whole area, and sometimes moving furniture to get under it. My weekly cleaning including wiping all mirrors and glass frames and flicking off dust with a feather duster (before vacuuming).
Odd jobs that are handled frequently include cleaning off the top of the refrigerator, cleaning the stove hood, cleaning burner pans, etc.
Your cleaning routine depends on your home, your family, and your schedules and priorities. A small home tends to stay cluttered because there isn't enough room and even a few items out of place make it look messy, while a large home has more surfaces and rooms to keep up. And of course, an older home may be harder to maintain and clean as well. Kids, babies, pets, a demanding work schedule, extra curricular activities for the kids - it all factors in. My advice is to find what works for you and do the best you can with it.
Good luck.
If your house is dirty start today do it bit by bit do maybe 2 rooms then do something that enjoys you (cause nobody likes clening) then do some more room and keep at it!! If there is a sign that a room might get dirty again clean up the problem!!
Cleaning is a never ending life long job. Wouldn't it be nice if you wave a magic wand and the house would stay clean and tidy, but in real life that doesn't happen. So keep cleaning, you missed a bit. lol
Spend 20mins every night b4 bed tiding, it makes a lot of difference, it is always nice to wake up to a tidy house!
