You'll have to get contractors to come over and give you an estimate. They will measure the house, look at any special conditions, compute how much time they will need, find out what kind of siding you want, if they need to remove the old siding, whether you want additional insulation put in, see if there is any repair work that must be done before putting the siding up, etc. An estimate based on the information you've provided would be lucky to come within $1000-2000 of the actual cost.
Call at least 3 different companies for estimates. We had siding put on a house, and the estimates varied from about $2800 to $10,000.
i work with father and son and it would run you about 500 to1000 good price if you ask me
another thing to add is make sure the contractor is liscensed and insured. it may cost more but it's worth it. if a worker gets hurt it won't come back to you and the quality of work is always better
