Concerning flooring?
Question:ok this might be the most stupidest question but i have to ask. i was to redo the carpet in my appartment when i called lowes they told me the labor cost would be 65 cents per square foot...now how do i calculate the square foot(age) of my appartment?

length times width
Measure each room assuming it is a rectangle multiply the length times width to get rough. area. Add or subtract a little or add rooms not rectangular.
Take the length of the room multiply by the width (for example 10 feet x 12 feet = 120 square feet) add the .65 per square installation price to the square footage price of the carpet and multiply by the square footage of your room.
