What will make cloth stick on cloth?

Answers:
how about a needle and string?

gorilla glue... local hardware store,,,,
Try two-sided adhesive tape. You can find clear plastic tape where carpet accessories and equipment are sold.
If you go to a store like Michaels or JoAnn's they have fabric glue for that specific purpose. Or you can purchase sheets that you put inbetween the 2 layers and iron it and it bonds the two.
How about Velcro?
nail glue / super glue ... the tineiest ammount gets the job done (use a toothpick when applying)
Elmer's glue is colorless and it's often used for crafts. Test it on a small area to make sure it's okay.

There is a product called "stitch witchery" or fusible iron-on tape. You place it between the fabrics and go over it with a hot iron. This is good if the fabric isn't delicate.

You can also buy an excellent spray-on adhesive in an art store or craft store. Some are permanent and some are re-positionable. I used one to keep the slipcovers in place on my couch.

Double-stick tape can be good too, plain old 3M in the yellow dispenser.
Buy modpodge, available at Walmart or any craft store. Coat both pieces and arrange how you want them and let dry. You can also use this on jigsaw puzzles because it dries clear and makes it permanent. Another option is Arlene's fabric glue. It's in a pink bottle. We, my mother and I, use this to make a bows stiff for wreaths or other craft projects. If you apply it wet to the other piece it will glue the pieces together.
