What would make you choose to order your PVC windows from a company, when there are so many on the market?

1. Reputation. Go with a company that has been in the business. There is probably a good reason why they`ve been there so long. Most of their products are a little higher priced, but face it, you get what you pay for. Don`t expect a Cadillac when your buying a moped.

The only way I would do it is by recommendation. Most of them can talk the talk - you only know if they perform when it's too late.
If you don't know anyone who can recommend their supplier:
Ignore the national names unless you can afford to pay over the odds.
Ignore the cheapest firms who only take out small ads in the local paper.
Get a couple in to quote and ask for names of previous customers you could contact. If they don't wnat to give you their details or quote "data protection" or other cr-p - don't use them.
Good companies may invite you to see their factory. Many other companies are just salesmen that subcontract the fitting and making to others. Try to find a company that make the units and employ their own fitters.
