What if you really really want something but you dont have enough mony for it> what would you do?
Question:
Answers:
get a job
do more chores [if ur teen]
save up or get a loan
wait until i have enough, or get an alternative
Save my money until I could afford it. Never put it on credit!
Wait until you have enough money is the best answer but credit is the alternative.
Buy the cheaper version. Almost anything you can think of that you want, you can find something that has the same look, but costs less. Like this yellow crystal chandelier I totally wanted for my dining room. I bought a cheap vintage one that was missing half its crystals at the local thrift store, and replaced the crystals with yellow glass beads. It looks even better than the catalog one, and it cost $40 instead of $400.
You will either have to increase your money or decrease your wants.
You can stop buying anything not a necessity; you can re-evaluate your necessities, and see if you are buying function or advertising hype.
Example: Paul Harvey was commenting on designer bags for bringing home the groceries. Cost? Over nine hundred dollars. The Best selling [non-designer] bag? A buck fifty. My point is that the dollar fifty will buy a bag that will do the job as well as the nine hundred dollar one.
And, of course, you can wait until you earn the money.
I would wait. If you get an alternative to fill in until you get what you really want, you are spending money and time on something you are just going to get rid of eventually, anyway.
