How to paint Harlequin Diamonds on a wall?

Use a pencil and level to mark your lines first, then use painters tape to frame the diamond. I wouldn't do it without the level because when you paint on a pattern neatness counts. Give the paint a day to cure on the first color, then do the second color the next day. Leaving the tape on any longer you stand the risk of removing your paint.
use painter's tape to "draw" your design on the walls. Then pain where you want the diamonds. After the paint is dry, remove the tape. this should leave you with "clean" diamonds.
