I need to find a set of 7 inch dessert plates NOW. Can you help me out?
Question:Don't suggest ebay. I hate that crap hole.
My mom has some very beautiful dessert plates, and I have a very naughty 3 year old...
Four of them broke today. I tried super gluing them back together, but it looks like shiit.
I know they were not that expensive, but they are really pretty.
I need to buy her some new ones, but I don't know where to get them or where she got them.
HELP ME OUT!!
They have to be 7 inches because she keeps them in a stand, the price does not matter, but I would like to get a set of 4-8 for under $60 including shipping and everything.
Answers:
go to replacements ltd.com They sell most patterns.
There is a place on the web called Replacements ltd. They have any pattern you need and the service is great and fast! Try it you may just find what you are looking for.
Did you try going to a mall and look in the stores? You have a better idea of what you are looking for than anyone here. Get off your but and do it yourself.
Bay, Sears, Wal-Mart they all should have a variety or any "kitchen" store will too but once you get into individual stores you get a little more pricey
g'luck
Restaurant supply stores carry beautiful dessert plates. Some are also used as salad plates. There are plenty to choose from depending on the store. Some come in a clear patterned or etched glass. I owned a restaurant, so I know. hotels & restaurants have started using fancier & more elegant place settings. A far cry from the days of the heavy white w/ green ring around them! LOL Good Luck!
Unless you know where your mom bought them, you will have a hard time finding them. If you know what store(s) she shops at, then maybe that would be a start. Is there writing on the bottom? If so, look that name up on the internet. I wish you had a picture of the plate, but since you don't, I wish you good luck.
