I want to buy a mattress..but i dont know which brand to buy..does anyone have any suggestions?
Question:i want a mattress that isnt crazy expensive but i def. want it to be comfortable...something that will give a good night sleep since my old mattress isnt helping.also what store should i go to for a good deal...any help would be great..thanx..i have a full looking to spend $400-$700

Definately don't go with a sleep number. Horrible uncomfortable for stomach sleepers. I recommend the type we hav eit is a memory foam type like the tempurpedic. We got the queen size from Cosco for 500 and I bought a serta box spring from Big lots for 130. I love the mattress. The most comfy we have had. We have had waterbed, one that we paid 1600for just the mattress some special pillow top. By far I love this one and the price is really great. The other nice thing is the mattress comes in a box about 3 1/2 to 4 feet high and about 18 to 20 inches around. It is a squarish box on wheels. You get it home take it out and it magically expands to a queen size mattress and moving we have done this now 5 times in the last few years and all we do is roll it tightly and tie it. Doesn't take up half the room as your standard matress upon moving. The cover is also removeable and washable. Hope this helps. Another note we bought this when I was 4 or 5 months pregnant. Comfort was at the utmost since this was baby number 5.
OK. I used to work in a furniture store that sold mattresses and here is the bottom line: they are all roughly the same! Don't be sucked in by the pretty ticking (fabric) covering the mattress and how many coils, or even the brand name, or whatever else the sales person tells you. In fact, if I were you, I would put a post on craiglist.com. I got a great mattress on there for $80.00 and I sleep great on it. It was 4 years old and had only been in a guest room so I knew it was going to be in decent shape. If you do decided to buy one, tell the salesperson to leave you along - seriously - and only shop in your price range. Find what is comfortable for your body and your wallet and go from there. You can easily get something decent for what you have, by the way. Good luck, and don't be pressured by a fast-talking salesperson!
After 2 back surgeries, I've done a lot of research on mattresses. In my opinion, all mattress and box spring types are the same. I've bought cheap as well as expensive. About a year ago my husband suggested we try the sleep number. They were running one of their twice a year sales. I was very skeptical. Honestly, it was the best purchase we have ever made. I used to be up every two or three hours with pain. Now I sleep through the night. For back sleepers and side sleepers it is great. I had to break the stomach sleeping years ago, so I reserve comment there. Good Luck

Buy a foam mattress: A good mattress is comfortable and at the same time lasts long. Today some very good foam mattresses are coming quick and fast in the market. Scientific advancement has made the foam mattresses super comfortable and a major hit in most of the countries.
