Right now it's summer and your going to have your windows open. Don't put it to close to the window or you'll feel no breeze. I personally would put it a little bit away from the window so you'll feel a breeze.
On the floor. Other than that, it depends on the layout of your room, with closets, doors, windows, floor vents, etc...
u dont put a bed next to radiators or near the opening of the door
