Toolboxes for dressers?
Question:My lovely boys have been in the business of destroying furniture for the past couple of years. They have gone through at least 6 dressers in less than 3 years. The last 2 lasted a whopping 2 weeks in this house.
With a set of red tube bunk beds, I am thinking of putting toolboxes in the room for dressers. While I was pricing better brands, I found that one off brand at Lowes actually has 4 bigger drawers instead of the tiny ones and is about $90.
What do you think of this?

That is actually an awesome idea! If they are especially into cars then tailor them further with custom decals or magnets of favorite images of cars or drivers. Maybe get a matching tool hanger for coats and hats to put on the wall next to it.
These tool boxes last forever...my dad, a mechanic, has had the same big tool box for 30 years!
Very creative! Way to think outside the box! Just make sure the toolboxes are stable on their bedroom flooring (carpet?).
