Using anti intruder paint on roof over 7 feet do i still need to put up warning sign?

unfortunatly "good old Britain" is only "good old Britain" if you are foreign or up to no good.
The law demands that if any deterrent is used, whatever shape or form it may take, it requires a written warning to be displayed for all to see.
Gone are the days when we used to see a burgular cutting himself to shreds and then running off ashamed as the neighbourhood laughs hysterically, and then the neighbours patting you on the back etc.
Nowadays all you get is your hands cuffed behind your back and the burgular laughing hystercally at you for your futile effort. (whether you let the burgular in or try and deter - you end up paying!)
I used to work for a fraud company doing covert surveillance. The only problem is, if we fixed a camera anywhere, we would have to display huge massive signs saying you are being covertly watched - sort of defeating the object!
If anyone uses broken glass or wall spikes over 5-6ft high then they are liable to be prosecuted as the intruder would not see it and could jump up and grab your wall innocently (as if) and cut their hands.

broken glass, razor wire, electric wire, nails, even some discarded "pins" ( hypodermic needles) would seem the better options to me. but the criminal has rights...LOL

It is advisable to put up signs, you never know what comeback you can have.
