Cheap salon reception desk?
Question:my sister as a small salon and she only wants to spend £200 on a reception desk any ideas I've looked on ebay there isn't any. please let me know of any that is in that price range. thanks.

I made a desk for my son from an old sewing machine cabinet (less machine). Put a solid piece of wood on top and painted it.
I'm writing from the US so I dont know the price, but try consignment shops and dress it up. Shabby Chic is in, so take advantage and you might be putting money back into your pocket!
You can probably get a builder to do a custom one with laminate in the salon colours for less than that...it needn't be huge...just enough to make a statement...
Also, if the place is kind of modern-y feeling...check out Ikea, they have neat, modern looking things that sort of scream salon there just now...and you can get a better one when things get rolling...
