FAMILY PICTURES

Pictures of your family, or portraits of artists, pictures of landscapes, or palaces, and on the floor put big red rug. good luck!!
load it full of mirrors and different sized pics.big and small.with lots of different colored frames.

some with shells, some bright red or purple, some black and silver, some made from buttons.

sort of a Hall of Fame !

Have fun.
a very large mirror.
stick with paintings and pictures. maybe paint a design aroudn the borders. in our house we have a theme that my mom painted where it looks like the wall paper peeled back and bricks and vines are showing (really pretty, looks like Old French Quarter stlyle) also, a rug would help. and maybe those vases that you hang on the wall, granted their slim and at a level where it won't intervene with passage through the hallway.

well, i think that should do it. helpful?
I have a long and narrow hallway as well, and I did the family pictures thing. I call it my "gallery". I also added in framed certificates and awards that my kids got, and two shadow boxes I put together with their hats, bands, name card from the hospital "crib", and their first pictures from the hospital.
Put some long mirrors up and some small sconces. Good luck.
