Where can I find a sink and bathtub in a colour other than white?
Question:Do they make them in other colours?
Answers:
Sinks come in all sorts of color styles, shapes and materials. If you're wanting something different, the internet is full of product specific sites. Depending on your budget there is something for everyone. We used to think porcelain was just in white, but now the color schemes are amazing. Colored glass sinks, specifically vessel sinks may be something you're looking for. Glass is awesome, but make sure it is tempered or for something really artistic, try fused glass. Sometimes all you need is a strong color focal point such as a colored sink and leave the bathtub as is (if you're budgeting). If you want something that has more of a 'living finish' check out bronze or copper sinks - they naturally color with elements such as air and water - called 'patina'. Talavera sinks may interest you (a.k.a. mexican vessel sinks). Lots of traditional patterns and some great contemporary designs.
Good luck!
Usually home improvement stores sell them in a white or beige hue. If you'd like something other than that, most likely you will have to special order from them.
"Re-Store"..established by Habitat For Humanity.they've got blue, lavendar, mint green...u name it. Any kind of similar stores that sell refurbished stuff for the home. The internet a good place to start
Lowes and Home depot sell other colors like grey or an off white. they're usally in stock. Other colors would probably be special order. Or call "That 70's Show".
If you don't like white, there is what is called almond and it's an offwhite, still neutral and is common enough all home improvement places have them and you won't frighten off a homebuyer if you sell later down the road. But they do have sinks and tubs in pink, blue, green, yellow, brown, even black - most colors that aren't variants of white have to be found and ordered from a kitchen and bath place.
lowe's, menards, home depot and their are many manufactor's that take special orders as well
You bet any home improvement place has them Revey, Home Hardware, Home Depot. Plus what ever other contractor places in your area. There are also a number of neat sizes to choose from... Another option is you can have it refinished to the color you want, This will set you back a bit.. or you can do it yourself. I cant remember off hand how to go about it .. but it can be done and it doesnt cost a hell of a lot either.
I know with us we have a really great tub but it needs some of the chips repaired. We plan on refinishing it ourselves which will allow us to color it the way we need it to look.
We recently bought a new toilet ourselves. A bit of advise... there is a new one that sits higher.. make sure its on the floor when you try it out...and that your knee's are comfortable. Well once we installed it and tried it out. My other half who has long legs still cant sit comfy.. even his long legs are too short to have the knees and legs at a comfortable level... As for myself my legs being short I now have to use a stool under my feet to keep my knees level while doing the number 2.LOL
