School assignment on redecorating?

Question:In this school assinmeant we have to redecort our bedroom and sum up the cost. Here are my questions:

*What would be the cost of adding 4.8m squred to a room(without carpet)?

*What would be the cost of 16.99m squrered of purple fluffy carpet?

* what would be the cost of painting a 15 ms of wall?

Could you please explain in a bit more detail your first question.

The cost of carpet:
You will need to buy 18.7 (m2): That calculation includes 10% wastage factor.

Now you need to work out your budget. Below you can choose the price you want to work with in.

If you want purple fluffy carpet the I would choose Premium Plush carpet at the $65.00 price
So the cost of your carpet is $1215.50 Au dollars.

The price of paint:
You may are going to need aprox 6 litres of paint thats applying two coats of paint. That means you need the buy two 4 litre cans or one 10 litre.

What you should do now is ring up Bunnings and ask them how much a can of Dulux Wash & Wear paint costs. Thats the paint I think you should use for your assignment. I think it's around $64.00 for a 4 litre can but not really sure.
