I accidentally sprayed lysol on my hardwood floor!?

Question:I was lysoling all the doorknobs in my house (My brother was sick and I'm trying to keep the rest of us from getting sick) and it got on the hardwood floor (just a small 12" x 12" section) and bleached it white! What can I do to make it look normal again? Am I going to have to stain the whole floor all over again? Is there any type of product I can buy that will restore the wood? Help my floors used to be so pretty!

Answers:
You can use a very fine sadpaper to remove the surface stain. Then, if necessary, refinish that section.

Or-

Make a paste of mayonnaise and cigarette/cigar/fireplace ashes and apply to stain and allow to set overnight.

Or-

Get some furniture oil made for covering scratches, and try it on that spot. Just make sure you get an oil that closely matches your wood color.
