How can I get exterior gloss enamel housepaint out of my hair! Please help!!?
Question:I was helping my hubby paint the outside of our house and he was painting above me and I ended up with 1/4 gal paint in my hair. It fell off the ladder so if you know anything other then paint thinner or gas please response...Thank you!

Corn oil will work great,soak clean washrag and work into hair then gently brush and pull small strand,s w/rag.Wont harm your hair.
Carol. You are going to have to cut it out. Don't put any thinners on your hair. It is an acid.You'll burn yourself. Wash your hair with shampoo,dry carefully,and cut the paint out. Now you know why it is a good idea to wear some sort of hat.I know you ladies like your hairstyles. Mark you , you have started a new hairstyle. I hope it was a nice coloured paint? Good Luck!
It sounds weitrd, but use a quart of fresh motor oil, it will weaken the paint enough to brush it out in th shower, then wash your hair really well a few times
Baby oil works well for spatters. You have to work it a bit, but it is gentle and doesn't smell terrible. Not sure how well it will work for a whole quart of paint, but I sure would give it a try before more extreme measures. Sooner the better, too. The more the paint cures, the harder it will be.
I'd go to a paint store and ask them. If that doesn't work I'd go to a beauty salon and ask them what to do.
Is it oil based? or water based? Water based is easy-- just shampoo. Oil based? Bad news. YUCK!!! Guess that's why it's bad luck to stand under ladders.
