Does anyone know where i can buy biscuit tiles from. They are apparently unglazed tiles?

Question:hi .could anyone please tell me where i could purchase biscuit tiles from, preferably a source over the web if possible or shops which sell them. CHEERS.

Answers:
Biscuit is the technical term for unglazed tile base. The major production area is Modena in Italy. Two of the largest manufacturers are " Cotto Emiliano" and " Ceramica Carpinetti". As for who imports biscuit.maybe try Worlds End Tiles In Queenstown Road Battersea Sw11. They used to import biscuit and manufacture tiles ,but may have stopped now. If no joy there go on the web and contact the manufacturers asking who imports their product.
