Where is the best place to get a small portion of carpet?
Question:I want to place carpet in the halway between my basement and the laundry room. Nothing fancy, just cheap. Where should I go!

anywhere that sells carpet..they all sell remnants which are dirt cheap and the sizes you will need..they are usually in a bin already rolled up
Got to a carpet store and ask for a remnant they may have.A discontinued one would be good for that...
Carpet places will sell small rolls of leftover or discontinued carpeting really cheap. They are still nice & new just smaller where wouldn't be enough to carpet entire house but sounds perfect for what you're wanting!!
Call all your local Carpet retailers. Most have carpet remnants and are sold at a reasonable price. I'd call before driving to all of them, to assure they have a varied selection...Good Luck.
