About how much would it cost to have a tub/shower and surrounding drywall replaced in NJ?
Question:its a super small bathroom. We just want to do enough to sell the condo for a nice price.

If you put in a single unit tub/shower combo that they sale in Lowes, your looking at about $250.00- $325.00
Dry wall is inexpensive. Three sheets should cover the job.
Total cost if you do it your self,.

Check at your local home depot, but a tub should cost around 200-300 bucks and another 150-175 for drywall and paint. Good luck!
i am having a tub replaced in a couple weeks and the cost for the tub and fixtures, and labor is about $1500(through a certified plumber). to include the tub surround was another additional $300. i also have to pay someone to do a little carpentry work which i expect to be a few hundred more.
yes,drywall is cheap but labor isnt. so if you do it yourself, make sure you used the right kind of moisture resistant drywall( green board).
i am definately a do-it-yourselfer, but this bathroom thing i wont take on myself. too mysterious. god only knows whats underneath that tile and tub!
