I just installed vinyl tiles and they are slippery?

Question:is too late to change them, how to prevent the slippery

Answers:
I just have a couple of answers for that.
1-_ try getting the shine out of the tiles with a sander. it will make it dull and prevent slippery surface
2-_ get the strips for use on stairs and bath tubs that prevent slippery moments... they come in a variety of shapes and sizes also come in clear so you won´t have to cover the designs (if you have them)
3-_or you can just cover the whole floor with a resin that is used on the outdoor patios and driveways. I think it is called Thompson's water seal

Consult these ideas at your local hardware store....

The vinyl is very smooth and slippery when new. If you give it time, it will scuff naturally and become less slippery. You could use some very fine steel wool to scuff it up without doing too much damage to the tiles. My inlaws have used these twice in their kitchen and I've seen what you are experiencing happen both times, it fades with time.
