How to coverup ugly window grails?
Question:my room windows which stretch from wall to wall are grailed up to prevent burglars and etc. it's checkered in design and brown. how can i cover this up and blend with a room that i'd like to paint violet or butterscotch? btw, my room is small.

You have a few neat options.
You could paint the grills - just on the side you can see - either white or your room color...
You could go buy vines of fake flowers at Michaels or somewhere like that and wind them around the grills (pretty from the inside and outside)
You could wind white christmas lights around them and put them on a timer to turn on at night..
You could find pretty sheer curtains to hang over all the windows - they'll block the view but still let the sunshine in!

Paint them to make them pretty. Then you could wrap fake vines around them, or beads.
