Question:Tell me this, if you have a tan colored house with black shutters, would it look normal to have a very light-blue/green colored door? (also: light fixtures/doorknobs are gold, garage door is white)
Answers:
I don't see a problem with painting yours a shade of light blue or green. But, you have many different colors going on, and you might want to consider a white front door with a colorful year-round wreath. You could also try a light beige color on the door - it would compliment the gold fixtures nicely. For example, I have a tan and cream colored house with black shutters, and my front door is red (garage door is cream and fixtures are stainless steel). It's your house, make it match your personality and stand out!!
The light blue is not working for me.Maybe medium green.
What color roof? honestly, should look fine, but paint garage doors to match if they are attached to house (not seperate garage).
Go to sherwin-williams.com or norandex.com and you can use a color visualizer to see how it will look. I think on sherwin williams you have to click homeowner and then launch color visualizer.
Erm sorry the light blue green door aint doin it for me . lots of colours happening ...Perhaps u shud paint the door in one of the colours already used for the outside of the house . BUT... if u like wot ur thinking go for it u have to live there ;-)
I think it would look best if the shutters, front door and the garage are the same color. At least the 2 doors should be the same color.
