Do you think this would match together? (pictures inside)?
Question:ok I painted my walls 'deepest mauve'. And for a long time I've been trying to find a yellow comforter cause that's the color scheme I wanted for my room...but that is a hard color to find in a comforter that I like. But today I found this comforter in a catalog and I'm totally in love with it...but I dunno if it matches well enough...can you lend me your opinions?

I think it would look great.
i dont htink it would honestly. the walls seem to be alil dark for it. but hey you have to live with it lol..
its funny i aint gay but i sound like i could do my own interior design show lol. wow
looks great, good idea with the colors~
no way!!
i think that is way too much. Too loud! I would go for your original choice of something in a yellow...or cream
Yes i think they do
Too much mauve in my opinion
i think it looks cute together!
If the walls are a plum purple like it looks online I think it will be ok. the comforter will be very eye catching so I wouldn't use many other prints in the room if I were you.
I think that would look really good together.
Yes, they match. I think it will look good together. The wall will pull out the similar color that's in the comforter!
YESSSSS, i love it!!
I don't know much about fashion and all that, but I am an art student, so I can tell you that the grey-ish color of your walls does have a hint of muted pink in it, which would go well with the comforter you linked. Even if your walls didn't have that slight warm tone to them, most everything goes with grey.
If this what you like go for it. Otherwise. Take it. Oh thats the same answer take it.
Personally I think it clashes a bit but could be easily balanced with some light pink and white window treatments.
I see the color that you're accenting in the comfortor, but it's such a minute bit that at first glace anyone entering the room will see the contrast of light pink against the walls.
They are beautiful colors!
your walls are way TOO DARK
Pretty! I think they will go together really good.
very nice, would definately go with the comforter...It's a light contrast to the darker walls. Looks Good!
I think it would definitely go. The white in the comforter and th elight pink would balance out the darkness of the walls, not to mention that the tannish yellow of the comforter is yellow like you originally wanted. And if there is a lot of light in the room like you said, it would be just fine. If you don't think that the dark blue you have currently is so horrible, then the darkness of the colors in this comforter shouldn't be a problem because like you said, it would definately look better than what you have.
If you get it, show us a picture of how it looks :)
First of all you have really great taste! Both the wall color and the bedding are really nice, although honestly I'm not sure how nice they are together.
Because the walls are so dark, and the comforter is so bold, your eyes will always be moving from the walls to the bedding and back again. It's better with dark walls to really give your eyes a place to rest in when you walk into the room. With walls that dark, your bedding should really be the star of the show.
Because it's obvious you have killer modern taste, think about doing a bold stripe, and less color. Greens also typically look really great with mauve, not a ton of it, but as a accent it will really anchor your eye.
One way to pick out bedding is to take a color swatch, and to the store, hold the color swatch up next to anything you like. You'll find something you love for sure!
good luck!
I think it would look great! The comforter would complement the walls and lighten up the room at the same time. I love it! :)
I think the comforter will look great with the new wall color. Not to be rude, but the bookcase and dresser look pretty overloaded with too much junk. Is this a child's room? Would look much nicer with the new look if those were looking a little nicer. You're right about the old comforter... doesn't fit with the new color... which is great, by the way. Hopefully that room gets a lot of light to accommodate that dark color.
The colors would go. I don't think it's fair to comment on people styles. You are the one that gets to choose which colors and styles you want to live with just as I choose what I like. But, yes, the colors would work well and the lighter colors in the comforter will brighten up the room.
