Pretty easy. I actually took out a regular ceiling light fixture and installed a ceiling fan and it was easy as 1, 2, 3. I'm sure to do the reverse is just as easy. You just need the right tools, right connections and make sure the electricity is off in throughout the house and you're good to go!
