Bed frame question?
Question:Im looking for a really cheap bed frame..it doesnt have to last me a reallly long time, though I would like it to last a good amount of time.
If I got this bed frame from Target

and put one matress on it...its going to be really low right? So I would probably want to stack two matress on top of the bed frame?
Or if you know of any cheap places to buy bedframes and matresses. Im looking for Queen size.
Thanks!

you can always buy a four pack of bed risers they are plastic cup looking things you put under a bed frame like yours to lift it
Bob's Discount Furniture is always a good place. That's where i got my beds for my 2 boys. They have lasted so far a total of 4 yrs.
For a SERIOUSLY cheap, but VERY sturdy mattress holder, have a piece of 3/4" plywood cut 1" smaller on all four sides than the size of your queen mattress* and put it on 6-8 plastic storage crates.
*-Most queen mattresses are 60" by 80"... so your plywood should be cut to 58" x 78".
To keep the plywood from shifting around on the crates, screw them into the bottom of the plywood, about 10" from the edge so they won't be visible to folks walking into the room... LOL!
To keep the mattress from shifting around on the plywood, buy a package or two of the rubber-like shelf liner or a nonslip rug pad (see links, below) and lay it between the plywood and the mattress.
You can dress up the plywood by draping a sheet or curtain or fabric over it... or you can put white or colored faerie lights under the bed and hang a sheer curtain over it... it'll make your bed appear like it's floating.
Hope this helps,
TX Griff
