Granite Counter Tops?

Question:We have just purchased a home that has updated granite counter tops, but the cabinets are not that attractive. I would like to replace them. Is it possible to replace the cabinets and not damage the counters?

Answers:
Yes, have your local granite shop come take them off to be on the safe side and reinstall for you. They should be able to give you a package price on both.

they have equipment that will keep it safe and they will reseal the seams and level it up for you when they are done.

That's a job best left to your counter fabricator. Those countertops are heavy. If you stay with the same configuration and don't and or subtract any cabinets, they should be able to do it.
I would go to a kitchen remodeler, they certainly can remove and reinstall the granit but don't expect it or the cabinets to be cheap. Think in the range of $350 per lineal foot.
