How would you re-do a 13-year-old girl's bedroom?
Question:she loves the beach boys, the rolling stones, and the rock and roll hall of fame. i was also thinking something colorful... either something with lots of pastel colors.. or just red& white,... or even like a woosdy theme.. but please send links! either to wall colors, or bed spreads.. or anything...pictures and advice please!

Man pictures are tall order. One thing I do love to do as a designer is to add texture, like put a surf board up somewhere-a real beat up one. Or put some old warped 45's or 33's up or album covers.
You could find old LP's of both the stones and BB's at a college record shop a lot of times. If you do red and white use the red on the walls and the white on the bedspread and ceiling. wood floors are nice or carpet.
wooden or orange crates are great for storage and shelving and have a sophisticated bohemian feel.
Loft beds with an optional bed down below are great choices for friends to sleepover, or you can just put a desk and dresser under the loft.
ask her, she has to live with it.

I suggest you include a full length mirror and a vanity/makeup table. Also a computer desk for homework.
Before I have re-done my last apartment I read a magazine about colors in rooms and the effect colors have for daily life. So, if the bedroom is primarily for sleeping, blue or violet can help getting sleepy faster (I suffer of insomnia and that bluish violet did a good job together with my purring cat). In the opposite red is more vivid. If she is doing her study for school in that room or hanging around, the choice of colors may be different. Unfortunately, I don't have a table with colors and the corresponding effects, but maybe you will find online something useful.
i agree .. .u need to get u'r daughter involved then she feels special if she helped w/ ideas or helped in painting. they feel so proud esp to their friends.
U stated she liked rock n roll... Then do 50-70's in her room. U can do it retro for the 50 era or physicdelic for the 70's.
50's-60's were black/white/red/baby pink/turquoise/ almost a minty green/ or
60-70's were browns/oranges/black/lemon yellow/ turquoise/ lime green/ . poka dots..circles...beads... albums... guitars... beanbags.go=go boots... peace signs... posters... stripes.. pasley prints...
I would proably stick to 1 or 2 colors on the walls then choice an accent color for the rest of the rm w/ SOME of the walls colors as well. If u go w/ 60-70.. then find old albums & either frame them on the wall ( Michaels carrys album frames) or jst put some of the albums up on the wall. U could use some of the albums as clothes hangers. put a dowel in the middle painted. U could use posters on the wall.. beads for the windows..

Well, first I'd ask her her favorite colors. Any colors would work in a rock'n'roll bedroom, so it's be fun to start with her favorites. And personally, when I want to redo a room, after deciding on a color range, I'd buy the fabric for the curtains/bedspread first, and then match the shade of the paint to the shades in the fabric.
If you can come up with enough old posters, you could even overlap them and decoupage the wall behind her bed with them. A black light and some of the 60s dayglo posters would be fun, too, and maybe a lava lamp, if you can find one.
Another fun little detail item is that you can take old recrords and put them over a bowl and start to melt them in the oven until they soften enough to shape around the bowl. This makes cute chip bowls, and the old 45s can be turned into smaller bowls for the desk- just use the cap off of a milk or water jug to fill the center.
