I'd go for black to contrast.
Several colors would work well.what is your decor like?

Sage green would look good.
White and/or cream
light yellow
tan
Think of the room with only the furnishings that you intend to keep. I would ask yourself if the colors more warm tones like golds and yellows or more cool tones like blues? Red is typically a warm tone; but some shades can be cooler if other objects in the room key off of it and it has a blue shade in it. You want your new pieces to match the rest in tone and in stature/style. While some contrast is good; you will want to keep continuity in tone and style.

It is great to throw in a pattern that jazzes up the solid color of another piece. That pattern should pick up colors and share a complimentary style with other pieces. If you have some modern stay modern. If you have contemporary stay contemporary. Anything else leaves it looking disjointed.

My only other thought is that red can make a room dark. It should look great with the light wood floor. Keep some of the other pieces lighter particularly if you don't have natural light or if you have a darker color on the walls.
black leather would look great gd luck.
I would personally go with one or two of the following:
Pale light blue and white:
Light tan and off white:
Pale light green and off white:
White with touches of dark green:
Avoid oranges with your red walls, and if you have anything with red make sure it is the same red as your walls. I do not advise going with red unless it is an occasional contrast with white or another very light color. If you go with all dark colors, you will make the room seem smaller and closed in. Unless, of course you want it to feel that way. Look in some decorator magazines for ideas.
White it will stand out so pretty, and when little ones come over just cover with a sheet until they go home. I did it and I love the white couch, you can change the look easy with a few differant colored pillows.
Chocolate colour with beige or white cushions
options:

dark wood to make the interior feel oriental/asian.
stained black finish for a modern feel.
white painted if you want it to look chic.
mahogany with touch of gold detail for it to look luxurious.
mix furnitures and colors to look ecclectic.
antique looking furnitures which can be any color for a vintage feel.
