What are guest towels? Am I supposed to have them in my bathroom for guests? What is the purpose of them?
Question:My personal towels are pretty nice.. do I need seperate towels just for guests? Do I buy new ones for each guest? What is the point of having "guest towels"?

I have 6 guest towels, they are rolled up neatly on a chrome rack, the purpose of them is that the guests have towels to use, we do not use the towels, we take our own bath towels in as required, hand towels for our use stay on rails. guests usually know these are our towels and the folded ones are for their use, after use they usually leave them over the edge of the bath or basin so that you know they have been used.
It's just a hand towel to dry their hands after they'e washed them. They don't take them home.
all you need is about 1 or 2 large towels and a couple small hand towels that a guest can use without having to share with anyone else if they are staying at your house like as in for days. of course, if you are talking about just small handtowels in a bathroom, you only need as much as you use, about 2 or 3.
The guess towel it to make them feel special. It's so they do not use the towels you use everyday. They should be nicer than your towels, big fluffy and white.
and no not new ones for each guest. Just a serperate set for all guest.
Guest towels are just that, nice, fancie clean towels to provide for your guests use. Many people also have decorative towels, these are for decoration, to hang on a towel bar & not be used.
Guest towels are regular towel that come in use in the bathroom like for wiping hands and a bath towel if the guests take a bath.
I usually have clean guest towels that i reuse for all the guests and i don't use them.
So if Dirty Bob takes a nasty sh*t in your bathroom & doesn't wash his hands well & dries them on your towel, tomorrow morning when U dry your face U don't get a facial or odor from your soiled towel. Spend the few bucks and dont worry how drowsy U r in your morning bathing.
Guest towels are considered to be decorative as they match the decor of the bathroom and are not to be used. Instead put out folded towels on the counter or toilet tank.
