Teen girl room ideas?

Question:i'm 13 and im into rock music. i cant stand pink and purple so dont come up with anything involving those colors. any ideas will be good, i was thinking maybe light grey walls with one teal, green, or blue wall? not sure about bedding colors or anything though. actually im not entirely sure about anything, thats why i need ideas.

Answers:
i think that you have so many choices that it will be very hard to decide. i think you should go to wal mart and look at the different color charts and find 3 colors that you like that go together. that way when you are trying to put your room together and can't find something in the 2 colors you can go with a third. next sit and draw how the things in your room will fit in the new room. remember that you don't have to use everything and you may buy new things. also rearrange the furniture. don't put everything up against the wall, experiment. lastly buy things that will bring your taste out. some cool items are at jcpenny's and other retail stores.
good luck.

i'd do light gray walls with a dark blue ceiling. that would be hella cool :]

I have one of those swinging beds they ROCK!
buy a cool bedsheet or picture and decorate your whole room around that thing...thats what i do
Light grey walls with one teal wall would look cool. Maybe check out Target, Ikea, Crate and Barrel, etc. to get ideas about bedding.
I'm gothic, so I painted 3 walls blood red, and the wall behind my bed black. It's friggin awesome.

Light grey and teal sounds very cool. Make sure the grey is a silver or pewter base colour, and the teal is blue based for a true colour effect.
i know im not a girl but i had the same problem the answer i came up with was paint the room a nice color like grey or white then put some bit paper over it and get a projector then put images on the wall and paint them in it looked great one other idea is dry erase board
oh what about black and red...and u can get a cool canapy bed...
you can do like a blue or green wall and put rock stuff in it like a guitar and posters of your fave rock star and different things you like
do like a blue or something with like zebra stripes and
blue walls and a sebra striped ceiling?
cute!
:D
good luck!
Im 13 too and I think that you should find an object that you love and make your room around it!
Go to Home Depot and use the paint colour computer. That way you can try different combination of colour until you find what looks good together
What about using old LP records on the wall, maybe the green or blue wall, then use stripes for bedding coordinating all the wall colors and use solid and floral pillows to accent the bed.

Get a framed photograph of an old juke box for a wall, if a red or gold one, it would look great on the acqua wall.

Also, check your Teen Magazine -- sometimes they have room ideas there, too.
When I was that age, I put up alot of twinkle lights and posters. I had a black comforter and sheets and made it easy to match everything to it. Make your room comfy and a retreat you and your friends wana hang out in, rather than a picture out of a catalog. have fun!
red or blue would work
