What is remnant granite, where can I get it, and how much does it cost??

Question:can you get it in large pieces?

Answers:
Granite is sold by the slab; so remnants are pieces that are left over, broken off of, or the last remaining part of a slab or set of slabs. Sometimes they are even free. Call around for stone/granite yards and ask. If you need a bigger piece and it is a common type you may be able to get several remnants that are pretty close in color and style. You could also mix in tiles if they come in that granite, which are cheaper.

I saw it on 'Flip this House' maybe the website has information on it, they got it really cheap and it was beautiful stuff.
