Are halogen track lights suitable for the bathroom?
Question:i just bought a new track light for my bathroom but the bulbs are halogen, is it suitable to hook them up in the bathroom or will it look bad

I think (and it's just me) that they'll be too bright and austere. I prefer a warm welcoming bathroom, so maybe look to the color temperature of the bulbs.
Plus, if you love bubble baths -- consider putting a dimmer inline.
That all comes down to personal taste. As long as the ceiling is high enough I think you're in the clear.
no there way too hot and the moisture from the shower or sink will blow them early
halogen lighting is typically used as accent lighting like to spot a painting on a wall but if track lighting is what you are installing then the only issue is to be sure that where the light casts is right. the halogen light will produce a more intense light then the standard track light bulb but it wont turn your room some strange shade.
