I getting a new room in my house what two colors should i get??
Question:I was thinking of a light brown and a light blue and have kinda a beach theme...
but I'm not for sure what i want..

I'm liking tan and an aqua, too. You can accent with whites, off-whites, and deeper turquoise.
I'm also loving orange, pink, and turquoise right now, but that might be a bit too cheery for just a general room (maybe better for a sun room or kitchen).
That sounds awesome! Do a theme that best describes u! My room is blue with dark purple, light purple, pink, and green poka dots, that best describes me.

You can go online and do a 'search' on 'bedroom themes and colors' and hit the 'images' button ... you'll get LOTS of really good ideas that you can then 'choose from' and make into your own 'special room' ...

is the best place to look at colors .. it will let you paint a sample bedroom or you can scan your own bedroom in and try a whole bunch of colors before you decide on the real deal...
its a lot of fun! i am doing mine as well. I am going for a greenish grey on the walls with white trim with oak and white washed wood furnishings...

If you are not going to sale the house anytime soon I would go with what I wanted to, make it to where you will like it and want to be in it, if you are going to be sailing anytime soon I would just go with neutral colors. Make yourself happy in your castle!!

I love those colors... r u gonna do 2 walls in br & 2 in bl or the do the top part in lt bl. & the bttm part in lt. br... then throw in accents of cremes/whites/ darker blues & browns. That sounds so kewl esp for a beech theme. If u wanted u could even throw in some soft green-blues as accents like w/ pillows or lamp shades. Try going to u'r fabric store & look at the clearance fabric.. c if u can find something along the lines of these colors & then... make pillows ( if u can't sew then ask about a STITCH WITCHERY that u could iron the ends together then put u'r batting or an old pillow inside. Or u can adhere material to u'r shade or cut out shells or fish & adhere them to u'r shade/bed cover/curtains/ pillows...

I remember this episode of 'MTV Cribs' where they showed Molly Sim's house, and she had this bedroom that was INCREDIBLE! I vow that whenever I buy a house, I will have a room just like it.
The walls were painted a seagreen color, and she had all of these retro, black-and-white framed pictures on the walls. Her bed had white linens on it and a silver frame, and her dresser and furniture was all white wicca. It's hard to imagine, but it was so beautiful.
