Is it safe to drink out of a cup that has been spray painted and has a clear lacquer finish?
Question:i have a cup that is spray painted and has a clear lacquer finish is it safe to drink from it!??
NOT AS A EVERYDAY DRINKING CUP BUT JUST FOR A SPECIAL OCCASSION!?

I wouldn't.
NO!, because the chemical don't bind to the cup, and over time it will lift and paint is toxic!
Normally I would say yes, but I would stay away from hot liquids and look for oily rainbow colored film on the surface, like oily residue reflecting colors off a watery surface. If you introduce liquid,and see this in your cup, put the cup down, prefferably on a shelf cuz it probably looks cool. on the other hand, lets not find out the hard way.
