What color should my wall be?

Question:My furniture is a turquoise color and had bought red, green and blue. I have ran out of ideas to what to do with this room. I was gonna do red, white and blue but not anywmore.

I don't want my wall just to be one color either. Thats too plain for me.
My sheets look like this:http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f59/r2...
My comforter is purple wth squares and circles.

How do I make my walls look as modern as my sheets and comforter? Or what else should I do?

My other room is jungle themed.

Answers:
I think the colors you picked are good. If you want to match the comforter I would do silver walls (using silver matches but doesn't overpower or blend into the blue) with large blue stripes that are light enough to almost blend in. Use red as accent all over the room in pillows, lamps, & furniture (if you are daring enough) w/ silver handles. If you want the bed to pop then I would do a red wall behind the bed.

What about a pale yellow---something to have the colors pop out.
I love the sheets set, and the wall behind the bed in the photo. I would use white, with the sheet colors and turquoise as accent colors. Reproduce some of the sheets pattern on the bed wall, only bigger. Lots of throw pillows using the sheet colors, white, and turquoise.
Compliment that blue with red. Since there's brown in that comfortor, a rusty type of red would be best. Its always good to have a neutral color on your wall. So, just accent the wall with red like border it at the top or in the center. Or, you can do half and half. I'm majoring in interior design so hopefully I've learned enough to help you!
