One-piece vs. two-piece toilets?

Question:We're about to put in a new bathroom in our basement. We see one-piece and two-piece toilets out there. What are the major differences between these two types? Why might I prefer one over the other? Is it just style? Or are there practical reasons to choose one?

Answers:
Style and cost are the biggest differences. if you put a one peice in you dont have to worry about a seal between the tank and stool. However if you crack the tank you would have to replace the whole toilet not just the tank.
