Decorating help??

Question:my first thought for my room was to have the theme as "paris at night" but then i remembered that my room had light pink walls so that wasn't possible. so what do you think my room's theme should be "paris and _______ "

just so you know, i have a small bedroom and alot of things in my room like my bed's headbourd, desk, drawers, bookcase are wooden. also i have a regular closet, not a walk in. just give me some possibilities thanks!

oh and i mean paris as in paris, france, theh place. NOT paris hilton.

i like the "paris at night". y not? so u'r walls r pink... OOOOoo Laa Laa. use the black like someone else has mentioned. Hang or paint some shimmery stars on the top part of u'r walls.. ( they make glitter paint) ... Can u paint u'r furniture? Y not paint some of it black. or glaze it w/ black so it's not totally black. ( try the back part & c how it looks)

U'r bookcase... is it tall or like a 3-4shelf item? Could u place it on top of u'r desk to give u height & poss. more space. OR could u get someone to help or hang the case ON u'r walls as shelf case?

If u'r not for the black.. then how bout a deep purple? OR a drk brown. Take the brown or purple paint & mix w/ some glaze ( paint store carrys it) then take a rag scrunched up.. or a sponge that is cut out to give it diminsion.. dip into paint.. lightly blot on old towel... pat on the top of the of the wall/ceiling OR at the bttm to make it look like it's fading into the pink. If u did it on the bttm... & bring it up some.. then it would look like the land & the pink would b the sunset.. or if u did it at the top.. it would look like darkness overcoming the pink as in nt.time.

Get really creative. Go to thrift stores/garage sales/ flea markets & p/u up items that would look like something that would fit w/ Paris.. put hats on u'r wall as decoration. Go 2 fabric stores & look in the clearance bins for fabric close to u'r likes & make pillows either w/ a sewing machine or w/ STITCH WITCHERY & iron.. or make a pin up board for u'r notes/posters/photos..

Look at things differently. Not what they r s'pose to b used for but what u COULD make out of them. A basket/waste basket upside down w/ fringe or flu-flu on the bttm & dangle beads... Oooo lala
