How much would it cost to convert a bedroom in a mobile home to a bathroom?

Question:My aunt is wanting me to move in w/ her into her 3/1 double wide mobile home. She wants to convert one of the bedrooms to a bathroom. The place is at least 14yrs old. It would be a full bathroom. I'm thinking at least a few thousand. (Not worth it!!)

Answers:
It is a big undertaking.

1: Cost Toilet - 100 - 200 depending on preferance
Tub w/Shower min of 500.00
Vanity Sink at least 300 for decent quality
Faucet - 30 for a cheapy
Plumbing... that can get pricey
Adding a sewer vent to expell sewer gas through the roof
New flooring

I am currently doing mine.

I have 4700 in the tile shower alone.
700 in the dual sink vanity
another 400 in sinks and 250 in faucets.

I still have not touched Medicine chests or just mirror's
My flooring
My walls.

Good luck

definatly wont get money back in resale... People prefer 3 bedrooms

At the very least (if the pipes are not that hard to run) about $3000 - VERY LEAST
You are correct. The fixtures (tub, toilet and sinks) would probably be "at least" $1000. Then, the plumbing work and materials (pipes) would be at least that much more.
that depens. have found someone to the work or are you going to do it yourself
