Is cultured marble dated?
Question:umm we just bought a cultured marble vanity top to instal because we are updateing our home, and we heard on a design to sell that cultured marble is dated...what is your opinion

I have to agree cultured marble vanity tops are dated and seem to be on the top ten list for demo in bathroom rennovations. That being said, I know some people still really like the look of solid surfaces, but there are now so many other choices that don't have the problems like cultured marble did.
After 20 years in the counter top business, cultured marble is very much out of favor. For just a bit more money you can get a pre made solid surface lav top with a bowl under mounted in it, and get a good return on your investment. and have a top that will last much longer, and look so much better.
