Building Work?

Question:Our neighbours are having a chimney breast put into their house. The builders started at 7:45am on Saturday, waking us from our slumber and again this morning at 7am - what restrictions are there on the time they are allowed to start work?

Answers:
Builders do start early. Our Township rules are not before 8:00 a.m. on weekday and 10:00 a.m. on weekends. Check with your Municipal Township Authority, they make the rules.

Rule of thumb is 7 am to 6 pm, but you may want to check with your local jeristiction as your neiborhood may have special rules. Call your town hall and ask for someone in the building dept.
most noise ordances are 7:00am - 10:00PM
