Can I still decorate the outside of my home with red, white & blue bunting and bows?
Question:I missed putting them out for Memorial Day weekend. I have two buntings for my front porch rails and two bows for my driveway gate.
Flag Day is coming up in couple of weeks, and I'm going to be out-of-town for two weeks during the Fourth of July holiday.
They're sitting here in my living room, and looking at them is making me depressed. I don't want to put them away for another year, but is it too weird to put them out now and leave them up until the middle of July?

I don't think it would be weird at all. I think it's quite endearing. When people see them, they'll probably think about our soldiers, at least that's what would come to my mind.

There is no BAD time to show your patriotism.
I decorate in red, white & blue all summer. I figure from Memorial Day until Labor Day can be patriotic. Go ahead and put them up and enjoy them.
Sounds like a terrific plan to me- we always have our flag hanging!
