Stained rug.. help plse?
Question:I split antibiotic medicine on my black rug, i did wash it with a sponge and water !! but its all dryed white and hard.. how can i get this off? thankyou

There are two products that work extremely well on rugs and carpet- greased lightning and shout. I would try scrubbing it out with one of these two (just do a spot test first to make sure it doesn't alter the color of the rug) and rinse it out really well. When I wash rugs I normally hang them out side to dry. After that, vaccum the carpet to fluff it back up and you should be in good shape!
use carbonated soda, it may work, i use it for all sorts.
If the rug is not big - you can try to stick it in a washing machine with some Vanish
Dilute some liquid Tide clothing detergent in a cup of very warm water.With a dark colored rag dip the cloth in the mixture and scrub hard.Get another cloth and with clean water keep pressing and wringing il the soap is gone.Let it dry then fluff.
