Advice on Decorating Sceme?
Question:I have a cream walled lounge with dark blue carpet, and a cream leather sofa. The lounge connects to the kitchen which is also cream and has a black red and cream theme.
I would like some advice as to what colour sceme I should have in the lounge? Would black cushions/bean bags be too dark in the lounge with the dark carpet?
This is my first home (a small flat) any suggestions welcome!! :o)

I would suggest a blue, colbalt or sky, perhaps aqua.
i take it they kinda connect or u want them to?
then take some of the red accents from u'r kitchen & use in the lounge. Or different shades of blue or even orange. I don't know if u want to PUNCH it up or what but by the sounds of u'r kitchen, u'r not afraid of some pop.
Oranges/red/shades of blue/ certain greens/purples... but to coordinate w/ the kitchen... i would probably go w/ reds/purples/oranges & few accents of black but i'm afraid depending on how dark u'r carpet is.. the black would jst b 2 dark & lost. Make sure u get things on the walls w/ those accents colors as well on the sofa. Bring some funky texture in as well. Try clearance bins at stores/thrift stores or if u can sew, fabric store bins... & cover pillows etc...
