Bought a new house with columns on main floor. Should I leave them white or match to other paint?

Question:

Answers:
It depends on whether you want to emphasize the columns, or make them recede visually. To make the columns stand out, paint them a contrasting color or leave them white; to make columns less prominent, paint them to match the walls.

Normally a feature like columns are painted the color of the trim.
Either leave them white or faux finish them in either a single glaze or a faux marble effect.
They should match the trim color of the surrounding trim
You could try tiling them in very tasteful Italian glass tiles- like mosaic tiles. Just a thought?
paint them to match
Leave the white. They look much classier that way.
