How to preserve seashells?

Question:colourful corals and seashells

Answers:
I was into seashells when I lived in Hawaii and what I did was soak them in a bucket of bleach water for a few days; take them out and spray them with a hose and allow them to dry. This should remove any "smell". If they look dull or hazy just take some regular car polish and polish them the same way you would your car. You can also get some clear spray lacquer or acrylic and give them a thin coat which will keep them looking "wet" and shiny.

Just put them is a clear vase, they are maintenence free
I ran mine through the dishwasher to get any potential stinky stuff out. Then just display - nothing else is needed.
they dont need to be preserved you should just wash them and let them dry and then display them
use clear glossy acrylic and spray on the outside. once sprayed, it would be easier to clean it and preserved
