Can I put VCT (vinyl) on my garage floor?

Question:I don't want the specialty flooring, just regular vinyl. What temperatures (high to low) will it work best in? What about the warranty? Are the tiles (VCT) ok, or would the actual roll be better?

I belong to very popular Porsche forum and the garage floor covering/coating question comes up often. I've attached a link to one thread on the subject. Apparently many have used VCT and have had good luck.
