How to strip vanish off kitchen cupboards?

nitromos paint remover will remove the varnish but it stinks,burns you if you get any on your skin,damages anything it touches. often in the long run its better to buy new cupboards
I suggest taking those cupboard doors off the hinges, taking them outside and stripping them with the liquid stripper that you can buy at Walmart or any hardware store...be careful though wear gloves that stuff can burn when it hits the skin. then when the liquid stripping is completed after reading the instructions.sand lightly then do what you want af the finished product. you will have to do the same procedure for the actuall cupboards that are attached to the walls...it is a messy job but somebody has to do it.
i personally wouldnt bother, its really hard work and it can burn your hands!! i would just buy new ones.
You can use paint remover applied by brush and a scrapper and /or use abrasive to take the surface back to the wood. Be careful though when you use abrasives to start with medium grit and finish with fine once the varnish has been removed, keep moving with the grain of the wood and not across it otherwise you will see all the scratch lines.
Another way is to take the doors to a paint stripping company - they dip them and remove the paint. However, you can only chemically dip strip solid wood and not MDF or chip board.
nitro mores works always wear gloves with it u can use a heat gun just leave it on untill the varnish bubble up and then use a good scraper on it
