VInyl or Aluminum Blinds?

Question:Which blind material is the most sturdy, aesthetic and cost effective?

All up, it would have to be the Aluminium venetian blinds. I have both sorts.The Roman blinds are great to, but you have to pull them up and down each day. Whereas with the venetian you just adjust light.And nowadays you can get venetians cut to size.Depending on where you live- the Vynel blinds can deteriorate. Where I live(NZ) we have very high UV light, and most materials rot in time. But not aluminium.
